A new to me variety that I highly recommend. I was looking for a deeper yellow dahlia and Golden Scepter fits that bill. The flowers are small, but the plant is prolific, making it a great addition to your landscape. If you're looking for cut flowers, this one works very well and fits into many fall bouquet color schemes.
Please excuse the tinge of brown on the edges of the photos, they got nipped by a light frost. When in the peak of the season they are a glorious yellow!
